Cwm Tawel was set up in 2010 as a community group. It is run by local people and has local volunteers all with a vast amount of knowledge and expertise.
We originally began as a group of residents collecting fire wood together to see us through the winter nights, volunteering to help local farmers to reinstate lovely hedgerows for the local wildlife. We have developed our work into other areas of rural crafts such as dry stone walling and green woodwork. We can often be found around Lletty foraging for local wild foods and playing in the woods.
Cwm Tawel was set up to provide local people and visitors the opportunity to learn traditional local crafts and have a holiday experience with a difference in Wales rain or shine We are committed to creating jobs for local people and encouraging people to enjoy their local environment, taste local food and drink local Ale!.
We welcome visitors to come, stay and play, enjoy our countryside. Cwm Tawel is based in a small valley meadow near to Cwmcedfyw Farm, Lletty Brongu, Llangynwyd, Bridgend. CF34 0EB
