Relax and have fun whilst learning a traditional way of working with wood and make something you can be proud of.
On the first day you will learn how to identify the different type of native tree species and which wood is utilised for making a variety of items. You will also learn about coppicing techniques and how to cleave and use a shave horse to make a simple stool.
The second day you collect materials and make the seat, make drill mortises and assemble your finished stool.
This is a 2 day course which can be booked alongside accommodation for a 10% discount.
